  Truax Ore Car Works Tag.JPG - TRUAX ORE CAR WORKS TAG - Original oval brass ore care tag embossed THE TRUAX ORE CAR WORKS 1717 & 1719 WAZEE ST. DENVER, COLO., 4 in. side to side and 2 3/8 in. top to bottom, ex-Leo Stambaugh and Steve Rush collections [Of the nine known Truax brass tag stampings, the rarest tag is a smaller oval shape with a flat back as shown here, undoubtedly the earliest of the group. It is marked The Truax Ore Car Works 1717/1719 Wazee St. Denver, Colo and likely was used prior to The Truax Manufacturing Company incorporation date in 1892.
